E.J. Catchs Fire!

I completely agree with E.J. on how the Palin/Media turf war is playing out. And he even sounds a little angry for once. I like that he mentions how the conservative onslaught can make the media turn to the right (as in the recount and lead up to Iraq war). I had an argument with a friend over how the media wasn't liberal enough ... and this is what I was talking about - the tendency for the media to give credence to ridiculous "conservative" claims so they can fight off conservative claims that the media is liberal. Whereas, if the press was just out for the truth, they'd dismiss outright many "claims" they have to curteosy now.

And, as the Olbermann demotion shows - not putting up with the GOP BS gets you reprimanded.
