The Professor

Noam has a great post in the TNR how last night's debate was actually a huge plus for Obama because he used to be a professor. That's usually been a knock on him, but last night he actually got to answer questions, look people in the eye, work the crowd, and move easily about. This, in comparison to McCain's hobbling and terse language, really showed a difference that wasn't apparent when McCain was doing "town-halls" w/o Obama next to him.
