Palin Comparison

Now there's another new kid on the block - and she's getting some scrutiny:
- She secured $27 million in earmarks when she was Mayor of a 6,700 person town in AK. Now, she did "veto" the bridge to nowhere, and go after Mukulski and the corrupt GOP in AK. But McCain is notoriously against pork - and that's what she was bringin' as Mayor.

- Her pastor said Jesus is in "War Mode." Huffington Post has an article on her pastor's radicalism ... and it sides with W almost every time.

- Now, some claim (though it can't seem to be proven either way) that Palin was a member, if even briefly, of the Alaskan Independent Party - which advocated secession from the U.S. Even if she didn't, she supported Pat Buchanan. I think Pat's a good commentator on MSNBC.

- the Washington Independent talked to the Wasilla City Clerk (who keeps ALL records for when Palin was Mayor) and apologized for bothering her, and she replied that the reporter was the first person to ask her for anything! Vetted? I think not!
