Bob Hebert has a good column in NYT reminding us that liberals are good! The fact that the GOP can use it as a disparaging cuss word is scary - and totally out of touch with reality.
Herbert's colleague David Brooks is interesting today, too. Saying that "weirdness wins" in this cycle. He also makes the case that Obama has become more traditional while McCain has become more of the insurgent that Obama used to be. Also, Brooks thinks Republicans are "intellectually unfit to govern" right now. . . last week he didn't think there were enough competent Republicans to staff his administration!? I would like a little elaboration on that.
